Head and Neck

The ERAS Society Head and Neck working group published its recently completed guideline in JAMA Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (October 2016). This work was also presented on July 19th at the 9th International Conference on Head and Neck Cancer held in Seattle, Washington, USA. The head and neck cancer community is showing tremendous interest in ERAS and we are moving quickly toward implementing the guideline in a number of our collaborating centres. We believe that there is tremendous potential to establish a global shared common baseline of clinical outcomes data that will inform clinical care and facilitate a learning community of practice around the world.

The guideline is now accessible through the ERAS Society web site and also on the JAMA Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery website.
