The 3rd World congress of ERAS® Society was held in Washington DC as a joint meeting between the ERAS® Society, ASER and EBPOM.

447 delegates joined from 33 countries. The Henrik Kehlet Lecture “Economics of ERAS®” was delivered by Anthony Senagore, Cleveland, Ohio, USA and the ERAS Society lecture “Physiology and ageing and its effect of recovery” was delivered by K Sree Nair, Rochester, Minn USA.
