Geeta is a consultant anaesthetist at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, Surrey. Her major interests are emergency and high risk surgery and quality improvement. She worked as a clinical research fellow on the Emergency Laparotomy Collaborative and worked as a National Advisor for ELC England and Emergency Laparotomy Cymru. She helped lead the work on sepsis at RSCH and Kent Surrey and Sussex. She is currently working towards an MD in improving outcomes for older patients undergoing emergency surgery.
