There is limited evidence for ERAS programmes for minimally invasive thoracic surgery.

What this paper adds:

This group from Denmark, which includes Henrik Kehlet the founding father of ERAS, perform a review of the literature to date and identify areas requiring further research. They focus on the following aspects: patient selection, anaesthesia, analgesia, chest drain and surgical management.
